Cancellation Policy for Amiya Tours Inc.

Amiya Tours Inc. is a travel agency that offers all-inclusive multi-day trips to Jamaica that include airfare, accommodation, transportation and meals. We understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel your trip. In order to provide you with the best service and refund options, we have the following cancellation policy:

– If you cancel your trip more than 60 days before the departure date, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid, minus a $100 administration fee per person. This fee covers the costs of processing your booking and cancellation, and helps us maintain our high-quality service standards.
– If you cancel your trip between 60 and 30 days before the departure date, you will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid, minus a $100 administration fee per person. This is because we have already made arrangements with our partners in Jamaica, such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators, and we have to pay them a cancellation fee as well.
– If you cancel your trip less than 30 days before the departure date, or if you do not show up for the trip, you will not receive any refund. This is because we have already paid for all the expenses of your trip in advance, and we cannot recover them from our partners in Jamaica.
– If Amiya Tours Inc. cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or health emergencies, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid, or a credit for a future trip of equal or lesser value, whichever you prefer. We will also assist you with any travel arrangements that may be affected by the cancellation, such as rescheduling your flights or finding alternative destinations.

To cancel your trip, please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible. We will process your refund within 10 business days of receiving your cancellation request. The refund process is as follows:

– We will verify your booking details and the date of your cancellation request.
– We will calculate the amount of refund you are eligible for based on our cancellation policy.
– We will issue the refund to your original payment method or send you a confirmation email if you choose to receive a credit for a future trip.
– We will send you a receipt of the refund transaction by email.

If your flight is canceled by the airline due to reasons beyond their control, such as weather conditions, mechanical issues, or airport security, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund from the airline, depending on their policies and the impact on your travel plans. Please contact the airline directly to request a refund or reschedule your flight. You may also contact us to adjust your trip itinerary accordingly. However, if your flight is canceled by the airline due to reasons within their control, such as overbooking, operational issues, or staff strikes, you may be entitled to compensation from the airline, in addition to a full or partial refund. Please contact the airline directly to claim your compensation and request a refund or reschedule your flight. You may also contact us to adjust your trip itinerary accordingly.

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself from any unforeseen events that may affect your travel plans. Travel insurance can cover you for medical expenses, trip interruption, baggage loss or damage, and more. You can purchase travel insurance from any reputable provider of your choice.
